Favorite Bible Verse & Why
Isaiah 61:1 is his favorite verse because God used it to call him into the ministry:"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;" Twenty three years ago he had no idea that it would be the theme verse for his church all these years later!
What is the best practical life advice you have ever received?
- "The test of a man's character is how he treats those he doesn't need." "And when I first heard that I thought that's unbelievable because everybody grabs at you but sometimes we gravitate towards the people that can give back to us but when you show people that can do nothing for you that you love them as much as everybody else I think that is a good show of character."

Pretend with me for a moment that you just came across a person that was in need of some hope. This person has trusted Christ as their personal Savior, but they now need some guidance on how to overcome their past mistakes, failures, and those who have failed them in their past. They have come to you looking for some inspiration on overcoming their past and leading them to a successful future. If you only had a few minutes to talk to them what would you say?
